Number of times your keyword appears in a specific area of your page (i.e.: body,
title, meta keywords, etc.).
Background:
Keyword frequency is similar to keyword density in that the search engines often
use this value to determine if your page is relevant to a specified keyword (i.e.:
search phrase). Since search engines want to return relevant content to users, it’s
important that your keyword appear enough times on your page to be seen as a good
source for the information the user is seeking.
Example #1:
If your title contained the following text “cat dog bird cat” and your keyword was
“cat”, then the keyword frequency would be two, since this word appears twice in
the title.
